Bolt Airsoft rifles aren't your average electric blowback rifles, like the G&G & Ares versions. They are more in line with a Tokyo Marui RECOIL system or a KWA ERG (Electric Recoil Gun).

There is a definite "kick" when you fire the weapon, although it's a slightly different sensation than you'll get from a gas blowback rifle. Regardless, the fun factor definitely increases when you're firing a Bolt Airsoft system. They're heavy duty, beefed up systems with long range and accuracy. Definitely a great contender if you're considering making the switch from a traditional AEG platform over to a recoil-based system.
