Airsoft Surgeon Single Stack Infinity IMM

Better brace yourself for the price of this Airsoft Surgeon Single Stack Infinity IMM. It costs US$1,579.00 at RedWolf Airsoft... "A quirky piece, right off the bat we can point out the hybrid barrel and compensator, the two tone setup and the transparent grip panels and how it all comes together in a quixotic package that upstages even the more flamboyant race guns out there but to do it justice we have to take a closer look.

Unlike many most models, this is not based on a Hi-Capa but rather the original 1911 single stack magazine frame which makes use of a smaller profile magazine in a thinner pistol grip. The result is a smaller grip profile which certainly offers a difference to the otherwise larger Hi- Capa variant which feels pleasant to the hands and may even be useful for smaller handed operators.

This model incorporates a 6 inch inner barrel, clocking in at 300 fps its putting solid but not gratuitously gas greedy power down range. The hybrid compensator / barrel is one piece that slots into the special slide; the barrel is fixed and bolt dead steady it is at that, making the slide the only major moving mass during shooting. This serves to keep the weapon that much more steady and also reduces the chance of slide jams which can and does happen when barrels fail to return properly and jam against the slide which is entirely removed in this instance as no such complication in the action exists.

A skeletonised trigger and hammer as well as chromed detailing and a flared magwell are all pretty standard fair top tier weapon fundamentals on race guns with the added bonus of throwing in an aluminium scope mount and red dot reflex sight included. The weapon entirely lacks iron sights with particular note of the rear sight having been replaced with a cocking handle to make manual cycling a little easier by shifting the interface surface out and clear from the obstruction of the scope.

The black finish metal slide and silver aluminium compensator have a matching style profile with the flat facet lines maintaining a constant flow through the full length of the weapon. The styling is spartanly vicious in its minimalistic grit in form but vicariously lives its flare through the odd color combination of silvers, blacks and grays. Although the transparent grips do allow the visibility of a loaded magazine through them, it serves limited practical purpose and mainly offers something that other guns just do not have.

It is that sentiment that sums up exactly what this gun is, something that others simply do not have. It performs with the best, can be personalized to your hearts content, shoots reliably and smooth, handles well and most important to the discerning eye it is quite a different animal to most in the game."
