The name S.Armatus is a genus of stegosaurid, an armoured dinosaur from the late Jurassic period, and as the name suggests totally unique and new to APS.

All the internals of the guns have been equipped with the APS latest GEN II Gear Box and Hop Up unit, The guns have been rear wired so a mini stick lipo can be used. The APS Dinosaur range come with the latest Free Floating Slim RIS hand guard.  Unlike the traditional RIS hand guard, the Free Float design RIS does not require a delta ring and front caps to lock and hold its position.

In addition, the 'Dinosaurs' have been equipped with Enhanced Flip Up Front and Rear Sight.  When you check carefully on the dinosaurs body, you may ask why the screw, dust cover and pins look old and rusty?, This is how they were designed and painted to make them look as realistic as possible.

As per other APS ASR models, the dinosaurs have also had included all the advanced features that comes the from existing ASR series,  for example, stainless steel barrel, silver electric wire, 7mm POM bushing.
