It has a lightweight body made of reinforced nylon polymer and a CNC machined aluminum handguard for durability. The rifle features a 22mm Picatinny rail for mounting optics, a M-Lok accessory mounting system on the handguard, an ambidextrous selector switch, and a PDW style stock with adjustable positions.

Internally, the DEK762 has a version 2 gearbox with a quick change spring system, steel gears on 8mm bearings, a rotary hop-up chamber, and a precision inner barrel for improved performance.
