The SPR upper receiver is a full-length M-16 front end that's capable of some of the longest range AEG shots in the airsoft industry. This receiver has it's own upper gearbox which can have a higher muzzle velocity for use as a DMR (450 FPS here in Colorado)

The CQB upper receiver is used for (Close Quarters Battle) which is probably best used at an indoor field with lower FPS limits or perhaps at an OP that you will be doing lots of room clearing like OP: Lion Claws or OP: Faded Giant.
