Fulcrum On The Tokyo Marui Airsoft M4 CQBR NGRS

Fulcrum gets impressed by the Tokyo Marui Airsoft M4 CQBR NGRS. Find out why in this video review... "In my latest review I take a look at the Tokyo Marui Airsoft M4 CQBR Recoil Shock AEG, probably the most amazingly constructed electric airsoft replica I have ever seen!

This airsoft gun is expensive, however there's a reason for that, for the price you pay you get a beautiful airsoft replica. Tokyo Marui are legendary in the airsoft industry and this Recoil Shock AEG is another piece of incredible engineering that TM have lovingly crafted. The Recoil Shock system is a very reliable electric airsoft recoil system which combines the fun of a gas blowback and the reliability and ease of use of an AEG. On top of that this gun has a functioning bolt catch which locks the gearbox of the gun once the magazine runs dry. Chuck in a new mag and smack the bolt catch and you're good to go.

The externals are like nothing I've ever seen and I thought Specna Arms had great externals, this thing takes the crown for the most solid airsoft gun I've handled. On top of the absolute gorgeous bodywork, this gun is fully licensed!

Being a Tokyo Marui airsoft gun (and since TM is based in Japan) the muzzle velocity is lower than your average airsoft AEG, firing at 300 FPS on a .2. Although this is still a perfectly usable velocity and your targets will feel it. The range and accuracy are also great as you would expect from a TM. This gun is perfectly usable out of the box but then again for £450 you would hope so!

The only things I don't like are the proprietary Tokyo Marui parts, from magazines to the battery pack, although being a TM airsoft gun you shouldn't have to worry about this thing breaking anytime soon. Nothing wrong with proprietary parts if you make them decent in the first place.

This gun is replacing my dad's C8/L119A1 build which we made from an old rental, this was a recoil build which cost us in total less than the base gun's RRP. Unfortunately it wasn't reliable and my dad was sick of walking back to safezone when it inevitably locked up for no apparent reason. Now he has this TM M4 CQBR and he's in love with it!"
