According to the FirearmBlog, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) have adopted the CAA Tactical Mag17 Polymer Indicative Magazine after a long examination process which involved laboratory and field testing. One criteria also is that they find the magazine lasts longer than the models that it will replace, helping save the IDF money. According to the source magazine, none of the test magazines were even destroyed, a testament to its durability, coupled with the indicator window which has a white polymer round indicator to check how many rounds are left in the magazine, enabling the user to plan ahead in changing magazines.
