KWA, KRISS, KRYTAC, Costa & Transform4 (Updated)

OptimusPrime

As the SHOT Show 2014 continues, we are getting a little bit confused with the letter "K" which for now shall stand for "KWA", "KRISS", and "KRYTAC." Many of you will be confused also knowing previously that KRISS Arms terminated their relationship with KWA. But it seems that they are back into each others arms given that the KWA KRISS Vector GBB is again back in the market. Though this can only be about the KRISS Vector GBB and nothing further that will be released under the KWA brand. Update: The relationship between KWA and KRISS Arms still remains severed and under litigation for the meantime.

We all know that Airsoft GI's Tim Seargeant left the company to work for KRISS Arms USA as the Marketing Manager and we always assumed that he is also going to have a lead in their airsoft ventures. Now, we can finally say that he does indeed lead the new airsoft venture of KRISS Arms, called KRYTAC according to the owner of the photo above who is Jet DesertFox which he posted at his Facebook Page.

This means that this new venture supplants Defiance Airsoft which was previously the airsoft venture of KRISS Arms and based in Switzerland to handle KWA European Distribution. KRYTAC must be a compromise between the KWA and KRISS Arms and there must be some OEM agreements somewhere. We'll try to learn more about KRYTAC and does it do in the scheme of airsoft things. Also you see Tim on CNN.com Money:

Fox Airsoft airsoft reports about the ICS Transform4 which we first posted about as part of the invite of ICS to visit their SHOT Show Booth. Whilst previously we wondered how ICS will implement electric blowback to their unique split gearbox design and the actually pulled if off. There is no indication of a recoil feedback when it is fired and even the Fox Airsoft video didn't show any test fire. But there are more features which their video will be able to show to you as described in the product brochure.

Airsoft Atlanta perhaps has taken the first photo of Magpul's vehicle, and for this year it's the Magpul Baja though for us the Magpul VW Battle Bus is still the best one they brought to the show. It may not be most tactical, but we love the VW Combi and Magpul won love from us with that Battle Bus. More photos of SHOT Show Day 1 at  the Airsoft Atlanta Facebook Page.

For those who might just have their day ruined because they haven't seen a photo of Chris Costa at the SHOT Show can finally heave a sigh of relief as Airsoft Taiwan posted a snap shot of him. For Travis Haley fans, we'll see if we can find any signs of him on the SHOT Show 2014 floor.
