REAPERs Airsoft reviews the Begadi/CYMA SVD GEN.5 S-AEG With EFCS which looks to be an potential rifle for those looking for an upgraded airsoft DMR. The fifth-generation SVD/SVU series, revamped in collaboration with CYMA, now features a redesigned gearbox with a spring change system for easy spring replacement (except for the SVD Sport Tactical). The jumping guide, identical to the Begadi Sport MK16 series, is made of steel with a ball bearing. The internals are powered by the CYMA Super High Torque motor with 21K and neodymium magnets, and enhanced with improved gears, CNC machined cylinder and piston heads, an aluminum nozzle with O-ring, and a piston with number teeth. To modernize these weapons, a new Begadi CORE EFCS specifically developed for SVD/SVU is installed, offering cycle monitoring, battery monitoring and a trigger with a micro button. Additionally, a Begadi PRO HopUp rubber is fitted to enable the use of 0.28 - 0.36g BBs right out of the box.
