Systema Announces New 7511 Motor

Kumi Yoshinoda, Systema Engineering CEO, sends in an explanation of the new Systema 7511 motor for their PTW series... "The main changes of the NEW 7511 motor are two points.  One is the magnet case whose external appearance was changed largely. We largely changed the external appearance structure of the motor which has been the same since the P.T.W. debut.

Reason is rigidity improvement in the motor at the time of completion and the increase of the management criteria of the external size which has the big influence at the time of high rotation.

Formerly, with the way to put the case with each right and left magnets, ±0.03 mm of management of the external size was the maximum numerical value.  By the usual working accuracy, it is difficult to reach even this value, but the size between the bell and motor bases is about 90 mm.

Although there is no other motor which is long and slender like this, between the bearings with such a distance, even if there is the 1/100-mm gap, at the number of 30,000 or more rotations, the influence is immeasurable.

So, we used the manufacture experience of the case of the A to Z motor, we connected the two cases with dovetail joint which is arranged longitudinal. Since the two cases are the completely same parts, they have formed the perfect object form.

Since assembly error difference does not influence in longitudinal direction, we have realized the perfect design size like the picture.

By the way, the design size of the portion in the picture is exactly 93 mm. The management common differences size of this portion was conventionally ±0.03 mm, but it is ±0.01 mm this time.

With this strict dimensional control, the accuracy between the bearings becomes the one rank higher. For high performance realization, as the motor for P.T.W. which always uses of the battery of high voltage, it can provide more smooth rotation and high durable performance now.

Furthermore, this case, also realized rigidity improvement in the whole motor.

M16 performs almost all handling using the pistol grip. Naturally, the load more than imagination is added to the grip. This is the only highly rigid motor which can oppose the high load.

For the idea to use the motor as this basic structure object, we have persisted with the stand alone rigidity of the motor. And, it has evolved into structure with the rigidity for the twist which cannot be compared with the former type.

Another improving point is the winding. Different from the former type, we adopted the method of the winding called alpha winding. The method of this winding is not rare at all, but it cannot be realized because of the capability of the winding machine. Advantage is that it reduces the load of the centrifugal force at the time of high rotation to the wire connection portion of the commutator.  Even if the method of the winding changes, we still use the protective cover by 2 part adhesives which already has actual results.

This new rotor can be used for 490 type which is the former type (depending on the model, processing may be necessary or, it may be impossible to install.) and former 7511 type.

In addition, regarding the installation of the NEW 7511 type motor, since the exclusive grip is necessary, please be careful.

With every model change, P.T.W. has improved the discharge capability since its debut. The source is the development power of the motor of this very special form.

The response power over high load is required, which is unimaginable for motors which require only low output.

SYSTEMA sticks to the horsepower output thoroughly because it is the only way to prove high technical capabilities."
