Our friends from Public Enemy are back with their amazing photos as the posted a set of photos containing the "Tour of Duty" Vietnam War Reenactment Photos taken at the Boot Camp, a wargame site in Hong Kong. A group of more than 30 airsoft players came together to take this shoot. "Tour of Duty" title reminds us of the Vietnam War TV Series which we consider to be the best Vietnam War story shown on TV.
Larry Ronquillo posted more photos of the Battle of Manila reenactment though the photo above shows a sword which does not belong to the period. Perhaps Voltes V Team is looking for their lost laser sword before Dr. Armstrong finds out that his kids lost their Mechabot's sword. Anyway, lots of photos of the reenactmentwhich was held in Intramuros which is the walled fort put up by the Spaniards in the Old Manila area.
Avid World War II reenactors and period airsoft players in the Philippines gather in Intramuros, which is the site of the old Spanish settlement in Manila to reenact the Battle of Manila (or Liberation of Manila), the scene of the worst urban fighting in the Pacific Theatre and leaving Manila the most devasted city after Warsaw, Poland. Over a hundred civilians were killed in fierce street battles between the Allies and Japanese.
