With their announcement that they'll be doing reviews, Airsoft Portugal sends in news about their review of the ICS G33 AEG, an AEG which looks a version of the G36 that came in from the future... "This is an airsoft replica that we cannot ignore and once again it comes from ICS. This company has surprised us in the past with their designs and quality with their vision of the future. The modular design of the gearboxes of your AR-15, for example is a step forward in the design of Airsoft AEGs.

In This case, the ICS has not only launched one of the many clones of the aforementioned G36C, but the G33 is an airsoft gun that has great looks and performance. I love the ability to pick up M4 magazines which are widely popular and use them with this AEG. I also love the redesign of the stem and grips.

It's not everyday that we find a compromise between performance and design, based on a real concept, so well adapted to airsoft realities. And the fact that we received this model in Tan (model 234) is another positive factor because the color is making a killing in the market. Negative? Perhaps the fact that it departs from the original G36 design that purists who like replicas and not concepts would not appreciate this. I confess that I also do not like inventions. But I also think that the modifications do not touch the DNA of the G36 in itself.

Also I did not like the plastic flash hider. Not only the material is prone to impacts and is at the tip of AEG, as the material used is not the same as the rest of the gun and is somewhat brittle. But how do I get this out and put another or even a suppressor is another thing. At the end, this AEG has positive that justifies its glitches. The lightness of the equipment combined with quality plastic, the dexterity of handling and smart solutions from ICS make this a gun recommended by us."
