Matt Meraz of Fox Airsoft is back with their newly stocked KWA AKG-74M Gas Blowback Rifle which he takes to make a video review... "KWA has done it yet again and has released one of the best gas blow backs on the market with another simulated bolt lockout model but this time on an AK variant. If you want to just fire the gun to cycle the bolt and not have the bolt lockout you can just make a quick mag adjustment to disengage the bolt lockout which will allow you to cycle the gun without having the gun lock out every time you fire. Some LCT parts can be slightly modified to add them to this beauty.

Unique Features: What makes this gun so unique is it's ability to lock the bolt back in a gas blow back model. You can disengage this feature with a quick magazine adjustment and allow you to cycle the bolt in a normal manner.

Suggested uses and applications: Since it is a gas blow back we strongly suggest the use of Green Gas and to use it in warmer weather conditions so as to avoid any problems. Gas blow back guns seem to have difficulty adjusting to colder temperatures. Because it is one of the most realistic blow backs on the market we also suggest using it as a AK crossover training platform.

Muzzle Velocity: The muzzle velocity will vary depending on the temperature and altitude that you are firing it at but we tested this particular model at about 380 fps out of the box.

Rate of Fire: The rate of fire will change depending on the amount of gas in your mag and the temperature outside but we tested this model at around 10 rps.

Safety Precautions: As with any gas blow back gun it is important to not store your gas in a hot area (like the rear window of a hot car) and to store your mags with some gas in them to preserve the mag seals."
