Now with the introduction of Moscart and magazine valve repair kits from Lees Precision Engineering this will become less of a problem, these handy little kits all contain high quality parts sourced and tested for use in  valves saving you the trouble of trying to get the correct sizes. The standard repair kits are all supplied in a compact plastic tub making them ideal for a pre-emptive spare to be kept in a toolbox or kitbag in-case  you need to repair a leak just before a skirmish!
