Tokyo Marui announce that the release of the Type 89 Gas Blowback Rifle is set on the 5th of July 2018. Based on the Type 89 issued to the Japan Ground Self Defense Force (JGSDF), this utilises the Z "Zet" System 89 Formula Version, which is a version of the Z System made for this GBB. The Z System was first seen in the Tokyo Marui M4 MWS GBB Series. Apart from the usual semi and full auto fire modes, this also has a 3-round burst.
