More improvements on their gas blowback on now available for US$560 at RedWolf Airsoft... "Western Arms has really stepped up their game in the Gas Blowback Rifles market by introducing their new and improved 'Super Version' Rifles which features a much heavier kick than its predecessor. Other improvements includes reinforced aluminum parts that does not suffer wearing as quickly as the first version, as well as an improved heavy duty magazine.

Whilst the newer magazines are preferred, the new 'Super Version' is completely compatible with the old magazines. Designed to be used with HFC134a gas, the WA M4A1 CQB-R (Super Version) is capable of shooting up to 285fps, perfect for up close and personal skirmishes. If however you wish to use Top Gas, you would need to upgrade your magazine with the G&P O-Ring Set for WA M4 Magazines. Once installed top gas can be used increasing your power up to 380 fps.

What makes the 'Super Version' different from the standard version is that it features a new and improved hard recoil unit. Comprising a unique spring guide and buffer set specially designed to increase the blowback recoil feel whilst increasing the cyclic rate as well.

The M4A1 CQB-R is essentially a shortened version of the M4A1 Carbine, featuring the standard 6 position telescopic buttstock, and a round 2 piece handguard. The carry handle/rear sights is removable so you can install your favorite optics and accessories on its top rail. Like all of Western Arms Gas Blowback Rifles series the M4A1 CQB-R is compatible with real steel furniture, from the buttstock, pistol grip, handguards and muzzle devices. The top rails are standard 20mm milspec Picatinny rails, so real steel optics will fit as well!
