For this weekend newsletter from Airsoft Extreme, they want everyone to state their opposition to SB1315 to Governor Jerry Brown for him not to sign it into law which will affect airsoft in California, specifically in Los Angeles. With SB1315 passed by the California Assembly, the California Airsoft Community now have to urge Governor Brown to reject the bill. Airsoft Extreme wants every airsofter to state their opposition by contacting him... "SB1315 has passed the CA State Assembly. It is now in the hands of Governor Jerry Brown. So here is what we need you to do: have your friends, family and their friends and family call and go to the governor's link per the instructions below:

If you haven't done anything yet in the campaign against CA SB1315, especially if you're based in California, it's time to do something now. An online petition has been set up at Change.org where it's targetting 10,000 online signatures. Priority for signatures will be California airsoft players as they will be the ones which the legislators will hear out. If you have friends in California, please do direct them to this, even if they are not airsoft players but agree to their position against the bill.

It takes one from New York to make a video in the campaign against SB1315... "Please help keep our sport alive and clean by saying no to yet another Californian state senate bill. Even though i live in New York, i feel as if its my duty to get the word out about airsoft safety. What would go down if this bill is to be passed is unconstitutional, stupid and unresolving, and would affect the airsofting community negatively. Us airsofters and milsimers are already getting a bad rep due to things like this. Let's end it NOW."

With the next hearing on CA SB1315 coming up tomorrow upon the request of State Senator De Leon for a "Re-voting" of the Bill by the Assembly Committee on Public Safety, Dr. Airsoft of Airsoft Medicine updated the video which they made as a guide during the campaign against CA SB798 last year. This is where to go and what to do for those who are going to attend tomorrow's vote at the State Capitol.

Urgent news to the airsoft community in California... "Please share to as many people as you can to save Airsoft today. SB1315 has been scheduled for Assembly Public Safety Committee hearing on June 26th, in room 126 at the state capital. Time has not been determined yet. We will keep you posted. SB1315 is a California bill made solely for the purpose of banning Airsoft in the United States.
