Airsoft Games to go High Tech with the Airsoft Landwarrior GPS System

An interesting development. We stumbled upon this nifty looking GPS set at eBayBanned, and we really appreciate such a project. It is sort of a copy of the Landwarrior Project GPS system that can give real time intelligence and removing the "fog of war" over the battle field. Commanders or leaders can view their unit positions over a given area and be able to direct the boots on the ground to where the objectives are and give them situational awareness.
One caveat of this approach, in the real world, is that it allows far flung commanders to do "micro managing" which is always a bane for those down the line as it removes some sort of initiative where each of their move has to be commanded. However, for airsoft, we see it differently. We always try to keep airsoft as safe as possible, that this system will greatly help, especially during Milsim events where players are spread over a wide area. Any thing that happens to the players should always be noted by the organisers, in case of accidents where there is a need for immediate medical care and evacuation.
Locating players would then be easy as they can be advised if they are already going out of bounds. Warned about impending dangers ahead of them such as cliffs and crevices, and overall, it is great for documentation too. Just imagine an AAR of an airsoft even where organisers can say how units have maneuvered to achieve an objective. And you get to see unit movements of google maps.
We have immediately dispatched at email to Paul Wong about this as we are keen to test the system in an actual large-scale airsoft milsim event. Hopefully, it would be sturdy enough for Airsoft specifications.
