The Jing Gong BAR 10–G Spec is an exact clone of the Tokyo Marui VSR 10 G Spec. The VSR 10 itself, from what I have gathered, does not have a real steel counterpart, although it is modelled after the Remington M700. The rifle is packaged impressively in a medium-sized brown box. By merely looking at the size of the box you know that the rifle will need to be assembled. Upon opening the box, the rifle lies in two major pieces, the stock and the rifle assembly itself.

I am a huge fan of the M16/M4 rifle and have always wanted to have a full length M16 RIS sniper rifle but not with the big budget as you would need if you will go for the high end AEG's such as the G&G G25.

Background on the real steel SPR

Here I go again, got myself another Both Elephant automatic electric gun (AEG) with the metal gearbox version and now the ugly cousin of the G36 series, the SL8.

I'll skip the brand bashing this time as I previously did with my BE Steyr AUG review. We all know now about the ticklish Both Elephant brand of AEGs available in the market...or 168 market? ;D therefore I need not introduce to you the now respectable brand, Both Elephant.
