In airsoft, we are spoiled with conversion kits that either take inspiration from real steel world or are original designs by airsoft shops. SRU of Taiwan is a prime example, a prolific maker of conversion kits including a conversion kit to turn an AR-style airsoft gun into a bullpup rifle. In the real steel world, Reap Weaponries just did the same, releasing the Scy bullpup kit.

Bullpups allow for a more compact rifle and a lower shooting profile. The Scy is a drop-in kit designed to fit Mil-Spec lower receivers and handguard providing the forward pistol grip. This product is designed to be compatible with standard AR-15 components and interchangeable parts.

You can easily change or service the uppers with industry standard take down pins. You can also use it with both buffered and buffer-less systems without any interference. The trigger length is adjustable to fit most triggers on the market, and the safety selector is standard. The only component that needs to be removed is the trigger guard.

However, it is not compatible with most machined lower receivers, AR-10 specific lower receivers, AR-9 specific lower receivers, and oversized handguards.  It is of lightweight construction made of polymer, 5052 and 6061 aluminum, it mounts on the standard grip location and M-LOK or KeyMod handguards.

It costs US$499.99 and when purchased, the package contents are the Scy, hardware pack, and mounting block.
