Reptilia CQG – AK Grip

Firearms accessory maker Reptilia has officially pulled back the curtain in later April and Mid-May 2025 on two new additions to its product lineup: the CQG – AK Grip and the Puller AR15 Charging Handle. These releases are the latest in Reptilia's commitment to enhancing weapon control, ergonomics, and shooter comfort, catering to the exacting demands of both professional operators and avid enthusiasts.

The CQG – AK Grip

The CQG – AK Grip is a purpose-built solution specifically engineered for AKM platforms. Reptilia asserts that this new grip significantly improves weapon control and shooter comfort without sacrificing the renowned rugged reliability associated with their brand. This announcement addresses a direct call from their customer base for a more refined grip option for the popular AKM pattern rifles.

Made from high-strength reinforced nylon, the CQG – AK Grip features a more vertical angle than traditional AK grips, promoting a more natural and controlled hand position. Its enhanced beavertail further contributes to improved comfort, while aggressive front and rear texturing ensures a secure hold in even the most challenging environments. This design philosophy aims to facilitate a higher, more intuitive grip, ultimately boosting responsiveness across diverse shooting scenarios, from rigorous training exercises to critical duty use.

Reptilia emphasizes that the CQG – AK Grip carries forward the core tenets of their product development: ergonomics, durability, and simplicity. Key features include optimization for most AK47-pattern rifles and pistols, the aformentioned more vertical grip angle, and its construction from lightweight and ultra-durable reinforced nylon. Like all Reptilia products, it proudly bears the "Made in the USA" stamp that U.S.-based shooters would prefer in their firearms.
