For those who missed the Gun Gamers "For The Kids" livestream last Saturday which was held as a benefit event for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. This 24-hour event was able to raise US$5,376 thanks to friends and fans of Gun Gamers media. Frank Bothamley, the Chairman of the United Kingdom Airsoft Retailers Association (UKARA) and the man behind Firesupport, is on a 980 charity bike ride from Land's End to John O'Groats to support the homeless charity called Hope into Action. Link is provided here where to help out in fundraising... "In September I undertake a mammoth challenge of riding 980 miles over 9 days with 52000 feet of climbs for Charity.

The Help for Heroes Charity Shoot that was held at Dragon's Lair in Essex was a great success according to Yosser who reported that they were able to raise almost £2200 from among the sponsors and 110 individuals in joining the airsoft fun shoot last 2nd of September. Finmere Airsoft members are organising an airsoft skirmish which basically is a skirmish where all the profits go to Help For Heroes (www.helpforheroes.org.uk), the charity that helps to look after our wounded Servicemen and Servicewomen. ALL the profits will go to Help For Heroes. Tippy has even managed to convince NPG (National Paintball Games) to give up the green fees!
