Stryke Airsoft sent in some photos of the Operation Cypress event which was held yesterday (31 July) at Los Alamitos. The event was a limited one with only 35 participants allowed to play. The event participants wore wear anything to look like the OPFOR as DOD and US Army participants who were in this event were the blue guys. This was a learning experience for the DOD and Army personnel in playing airsoft and at the same time apply lessons to the real world.
There were about 60 Airsoft players that participated in the first event that took place on Aug. 2nd, 2007. Airsoft Players played the roles of U.S. Special Forces, Iraqi Police, and insurgents to make the U.S. Army training more realistic! This time the third take of this event will be 35 players. Those who get lucky will have the chance to join in the DOD training and play with the US Army. Now it's under Stryke Airsoft, where 1st Protocol left off.
Stryke Airsoft, made of up of employees of the recently dissolved 1st Protocol Airsoft, had sent us pictures of the recently concluded Operation Cypress II.
