Slowly, we are getting reviews from the known airsoft websites in Japan as reviewers get their hands on the newly released Tokyo Marui AA-12 Automatic Electric Shotgun (AES). It's an airsoft gun that many are excited about since it's the only thing of its kind in the world for now, and actually has three inner barrels. Now, the popular airsoft blog, Hyperdouraku, puts up a review which is always a detailed one, though there is no takedown of this AES.
Now with the Tokyo Marui AA-12 AES released in Japan, we get to hear initial reports from the usual suspects in Japan. First amongst the Japanese reviewers is Mach Sakai, who reviews it in termsof operation, hit accuracy, FET response, ease of use, and velocity. He says, it will take a bit of getting used to, especially on the ability to control the 3 inner barrels separately as they have their own Hop-Up. He finds trigger pull is good as there is a crisp response with the FET.
The much awaited Tokyo Marui AA-12 Automatic Electric Shotgun (AES) is now set for release on the 15th of January. As far as we know, there is already a backlog of orders that the first batch will be snapped up pretty quick when it gets released. If you know of an airsoft retailer that is taking pre-orders and can ship outside of Japan upon release, then you might want to place your order now before their allocation gets full.
