The Green Mountain Rangers "banning" issue continues and the team are making their case to the court of Public Opinion as previously most of the stories about led to their banning were basically made by the other side. This morning, we previously posted the story from Merlin Blogspot about the side aired by the team. Now, here's a video of posted at the GMR Facebook Page about the incident.

It's a long weekend of airsoft games in observance of Memorial Day, and one of the big events was the Operation Lion Claws XII which was organised in commemoration of the 20th Anniversary Operation Gothic Serpent, which is more popularly known as Black Hawk Down. This is not a historical reenactment, but a more "what if" questions if that battle happened in 2013.

Task Force NZ got another video, and this time, it's about SoCal airsoft... "Hey guys I got a new video out! A finely made special film tribute made by Crye Precision for the U.S. Memorial Day 2013. Directed by Caleb Crye himself, this video reminds us much about two movies where the US Navy SEALs were prominently featured: Act of Valor and Zero Dark Thirty. Expect this video to spur the sales of those dummy GPNVG-18s that are right now being sold online to have the US Navy SEAL impression.

A new video released by Tracking Point shows a 3D animation in which the characters show how the Tracking Point System is used. This is like the auto track focus features in many digital cameras today with the shooter pressing the trigger but the rifle not firing until the marked area is aligned with the rifle making mistakes fewer and perhaps even rarer.

Russian video/film services group with a catchy name "Frame Catchers" posted this airsoft video on Vimeo this week. It's a well done video capturing the drama, tension, fun, and friendship in any airsoft game. Great use of lighting and it helps promot airsoft to target audiences in under a minute. This would be a great recruitment video for airsoft teams or marketing for airsoft fields.
