Yosser sent us a heads up that his review of the British Airsoft Show is now up for everyone to read... "This is truly a Great Event and one that must be capitalised on by the UK Airsoft community as a whole. I think it showed the hobby, sport, past-time call it what you will in a positive light and gave us a great opportunity and shop window. I felt airsoft came of age and grew up and stood shoulder to shoulder with the other shooting sports and that ‘they’ although wary are seeing opportunities and growth in the area that is Airsoft."

"Today we had some hard questions to ask of KWA USA about the production and availability of the KRISS. From the discussion, we gained some good and some bad points related to the current supply and future plans in relation to the KRISS. Firstly, the question a lot of people are still asking, 'What has happened to all the KRISS’s?'

Yosser likes this pair of gloves from 5.11 Tactical in this new review by Yosser's Airsoft Odyssey... "Great, great gloves by 5.11 and during this snow and cold blast we are having in the UK I’ve not felt the cold since donning these gloves. Great all-rounders with excellent performance with an almost second skin quality and did I mention warm! Only criticism from me is maybe the cuffs could have been a fraction longer but it doesn’t detract from these excellent gloves."

Whilst most of our attention are at the reports coming out of Las Vegas, Yosser's Airsoft Odyssey in the background getting some exciting news tidbits from the other side of the world. He's got a new update from the SWAT guys as they improve on their VTG and BFGX offerings, which means to say more grenades coming our way. Yosser's Airsoft Odyssey gives us the scoop on the new A-TACS pattern designed for Law Enforcement... "Columbus, Georgia-based Digital Concealment systems announces the introduction of the newest camouflage pattern in their line-up. As the name indicates, new A-TACS LE Camo was developed for Law Enforcement professionals. The pattern combines various shades of grey, blue and black and utilizes the trademark 'organic pixel' look developed by DCS for its original A-TACS AU Camo pattern.

Yosser likes this new product from G&G that should prove useful for a variety of airsoft games and training events... "I’m really enjoying playing with these M.E.T.’s they provide a great target set to improve accuracy and timings. I would have liked them to be able to be vertically mounted to shoot at the full domed face of them but with some creative mounting techniques you can still create an impressive range setup. Watch this space for an upcoming project using these great units.

Yosser's not done yet with his Airsoft Arms Fair 6 reports as his latest video covers Stirling Airsoft during the event. This was in partnership with Edgar Brothers where they held some sessions in the airsoft skirmish field of The Grange... "showing off some 'Breach & Clear' tactics as well as some nifty squad vehicle dismounts before jumping straight onto the attack."

Yosser gets to attend the NWACSS event and here's his report... "The North West Airsoft Community Swap and Sell group are a facebook group of airsofters coming together to help players swap and shoot - set up events and provide a great social network for airsofters and the 'franchise' is spreading with more and more groups growing up now around the country with a North East swap and sell group and a Wales group now and GROWING!

This is an interesting an event that any serious airsofter should look into and better brace yourself if you join as it's a 24-hour non-stop game... "If you are into playing the sniper role and fancy a different experience from either straight forward skirmishing or larger Mil-Sim events then a series of games being organised for 2013 may be of interest to you.

It's been sometime since we have a review of an airsoft mine, especially with the Claymore one. Yosser does us a service by reviewing a CO2-powered one made by XPower... "Simply the BEST Airsoft Claymore currently out there! Okay primarily a defensive weapon but imagine your main HQ or FOB protected by layers of these bad boys! It’s a great device for watching your back in Thermal Ir mode for lone snipers or entrenched players and even its loud detonation will at least give you ample warning to relocate or cover an approach.
