He writes that the Maruyama Manufacturing's gas blowback FMG-9 is a replica of the MAGPUL transforming pistol carbine. This highly detailed model features a one-action transformation, metal outer barrel, adjustable hop-up, and detachable carrying handle. The stock is made of plastic and can be folded, while the trigger guard and grip deploy when a lever is pressed.

The FMG9 folding gun got a full auto gel blaster version with Gordo Soo of Mech Potato showing how it works... "The FMG-9 is a Folding Gel Blaster, that comes with a mag priming. The build quality is better than the previous FMG-9 is a folding shell ejecting foam dart blaster."

Explosive Enterprises give his take on the AEGIS FMG9 Conversion Kit in this video review. This conversion kit can reproduce the one-motion foldable submachine gun FMG-9 developed by Magpul using the Tokyo Marui Glock gas gun and other compatible brands. A separate Glock 18C/17 Gen.3 gas gun is required. This product is intended for advanced users as it requires disassembly and incorporation of Glock’s internal parts to complete the kit.

A novelty toy, iGUN Airsoft in Taiwan demonstrates this shell ejecting FMG9. Based on the Magpul design, this is a spring powered toy gun  with the shells loaded with 10mm foam bullets. It is mainly made of plastic and when firing it, the flight distance is 10 metres. Just like the real one, it can be folded so it will look incospicious during transport.

This is based on the Magpul FMG-9 or the folding machine gun and is the only one in production in airsoft given that PTS Syndicate have already ended production of its FPG...
