1-18 gives us a preview of Toystar’s upcoming K-series gas blowback (GBB) airsoft rifles, specifically the K1A and K2 models, during the Platoon Convention that took place in December 2025. He demonstrates prototypes utilizing an MWS-based system, highlighting impressive performance even during gas cooldown and the inclusion of functional details like a working firing pin that secures the nozzle.

Platoon Magazine held their 1st Platoon Convention and posted highlights of the event. This was held last 24-25 June 2023 at the Korea Design Center in Songnam, Southeast of Seoul. The event had military cosplayers, airsofters and militaria fans banding together to meet and greet as well as check the latest gear for their hobby.
