Hunteering is hosting the UK Airsoft Sniper Championship 2018. The concept is interesting as it will test the skills of airsoft snipers in conditions that is set by another party. The event will be on the 19th to 20th of May 2018 in Scarborough, North Yorkshire. Now if only those airsoft snipers on YouTube can join in this competition and really prove their worth...
RedWolf Airsoft UK has suspended operations as fire hits their warehouse in Tewkesbury. According to Chris Kong of RedWolf Airsoft UK, they were called to their warehouse by responders at around 10:45pm last night as they arrived at the location to battle the fire on the Northway Trading Estate. All RedWolf Airsoft UK staff are safe.
The authorities will still need to investigate as to the cause of the fire.
Templar Airsoft puts out a video to talk about the new Policing & Crime Act and how it affects UK airsoft... "The Policing and Crime bill has now been given Royal assent and has become the Policing and Crime Act 2017. This new act, when it becomes law, WILL affect airsoft in the UK. However, it is not as bad as it may seem, so long as you are aware of the new law."

UKAPU's Matt-Furey King gives an update on the progress of the proposed Police and Crime Bill which there was an amendment that was introduced removing the exception for airsoft. The amendment was not included but the community should be vigilant as the everything is not final until the the bill becomes law.
Whilst we all know that RedWolf Airsoft have already setup retail operations in the UK from their base in Tewkesbury, they have expanded the store and will be launching a UK website to avoid confusion for UK-based players wanting to place orders at the UK store.
