As of yesterday, California Senate Bill SB199, authored by State Senator De León, has passed the third reading in the State Assembly and has been sent to the State Senate with Amendments pending. The bill is just a few steps away from the Governor's signature . Both the Senate and State Assembly will have to reconcile the amendments before final voting by the Full Assembly before sending it to the Office of the Governor  The highlight of the SB199 as amended is now read as:
