Unit Black Division, a Hong Kong-based airsoft team comprised mainly of expats from different parts of the world has a well made web site. Already a well-known airsoft team in the Hong Kong scence even it is less than a year old, it's ran by veteran airsofters from the Philippines, as well as from mainland China, United Kingdom, Argentina, Macau, etc. Though their website is still incomplete, I would like to post it here in my quest to introduce airsoft teams from around the world in my "WebSighting" feature.

Unit Black Division (UBD) is one of the most popular teams in Hong Kong with as many as 50+ members in the Hong Kong Island, Kowloon, New Territories, and Macau. While its members are mostly Filipino residents and Filipino contract workers, UBD also have members from Great Britain, Argentina, and China.

UBD members not only share their passion for airsoft but also have a genuine commitment to promote sport that has a very large influence.

UBD was officially established on the 4th of February 2007 by Charlietango (CT), a Filipino resident who just moved in Hong Kong. While CT was a member of Team Oz in the Philippines, his vision was to unite all airsoft players with or without a a team and also to welcome "newbies" (new airsoft players).

A veteran airsoft player in the Philippines, CT started to seek for other Filipino airsoft enthusiasts in Hong Kong in the middle of 2006. He was able to amalgamate a team together, Founding members like Oliver (Shockpro), Michael (Tisoy), and Henrich (Dagul) were able to attract more members, including Matthew (Scorpion) who developed our website "www.unitbd.com" and Jay (Threat) a determinate member who makes the team more sturdily organized.

UnitBD has a strength of 30 active members and still growing.

Members: LT, JD, Tin, Link, Hellsaint, Maricor, Carol, Olive, Flyco, Snakelady, Lod Vladek, wildhunter, adrian, alpha, G-mike, Holocaust, John Sparrow, silverhawk, petite, glory, juls, benjs, joseph, Slasher, Ka-vino, D, Mac2, Shindo and Pink and some of the few members to mention.

At present, UBD is being organized by CT and assisted by some of the team members.UBD had its first game on the 17th of February 2007 when it played with Team Checksix at Armed Forces game site (Yuen Long). This was followed by UBD's first big airsoft game (big event) in Sai Kung on the 11th of March 2007 and in Mt. Davies Pok fu lam on the 25th of March 2007.

UBD has the distinction of being among the first airsoft community in Hong Kong and perhaps the biggest airsoft team in HK to use Multicam (multi camouflage) and Tigerstripes Camouflage as its primary uniform.
