It's more on Airsoft Megastore's Mule again... Mule replaced the standard AK flash hidder with a 'Booster' sound amplifying flash hider.

Then he made a custom hand guard to fit the AK using a hand guard made for a full-size AK. The lower hand guard was cut to size and fused together using JB weld epoxy. While the top hand guard was trimmed to fit the AK handguard mounts. The notch on the barrel where the lower handguard caps had to be widened to fit the newer cap.

The grip was heat stippled using a wood burning kit. A pointed tip was used to make the textured dimple and stippled around Mule.

Lastly, 36ft of black 550 paracord used to make a spider-wrap weave on the top side(18ft) and bottom side(18ft) on the Skeleton stock.

The gearbox was 'MULE-Spec’d' with all pertaining internals polished and re-shimmed optimizing OEM performance using a 8.4v battery. Chrono test showed FPS at a consistent 380 average using .20g BB’s. The effective range was estimated to be around 150ft.

We also used this chance to film a new segment of videos for you. We’re calling these episodes, 'Mule Mods'. Get up close and personal with our very own David, AKA Mule, as he shows you some cool DIY airsoft tips and tricks. In this very first episode, he shows you how to easily wrap an AK skeleton stock with paracord making it “grippier” and more comfortable. As with all DIY’s please proceed at your own risk.
