Action Thriller Film “The Gray Man” To Drop On Netflix July 22

When film buffs hear about the Russo brothers, it is all about some of the biggest grossing movies in recent years, mainly from the Marvel Cinematic Universe that includes movies about the Avengers, Captain America, and comedies that have a cult following such as “Arrested Development,” “Community,” and “Happy Endings.
Now they are back with another action packed movie starring Hollywood A-listers Ryan Gosling and Chris Evans as they go up against each other in the “The Gray Man.”
Already on a limited theatrical release in cinemas in the U.S. and United Kingdom, “The Gray Man” will be released at full blast on Netflix on July 22.
The movie is about a highly trained CIA operative, Court Gentry who is played by Ryan Gosling. Known with the codename “Sierra Six” who was plucked from the Federal penitentiary and trained to become a deadly operative, he uncovers dark secrets involving the CIA and becomes a target himself. Unleashed to hunt him down is a psychopathic agency colleague, Lloyd Hansen played by Chris Evans, as they go around the world leaving a trail of death and destruction as Sierra Six avoids getting killed with Hansen hot on his tail.
Helping him out is Dani Miranda, who is played by Ana de Armas, a CIA agent gone rogue.
“The Gray Man” is the silver screen adaptation of “Gray Man” series authored Mark Greaney which wad first released 2009. Mark Greaney is also the author of “Gunmetal Gray” that became a No. 1 New York Times Bestseller book. The adaptation into film, which was announced in 2020, is one the biggest budgeted movie from streaming giant, setting aside US$200 million for the project as a sign of confidence on the Russo brothers who have given the world the movies that have already generated billions of dollars at the box office.
