Airsoft Plantation, Amomax & SOCOM Tactical Donate To The Covid-19 Frontliners

In these times, we have seen people step up and be counted as they join in the worldwide effort to stop the spread of the Covid-19 virus, which has already claimed over 35,000 lives with the number of confirmed classes nearing the 800,000 mark as of this writing. People are volunteering to help the frontliners take care of the affected and other essential people needed to keep communities fed and nourished.
We have appealed for the airsoft community to donate whatever they can and the most accessible thing that we can request for them is eye protection which all airsoft players have. They serve to protect the frontliners from droplets and splashes apart from the masks they wear. With hospitals lacking or running out of PPEs (Personal Protective Equipment) for all their personnel, we need to step up further and donate.
In our latest report of donations, we have three companies that acted quickly to do their part. John and Steve of Airsoft Plantation got a box of Honeywell safety glasses to give it to the nearest medical unit that can receive this and that one is the ambulance service.
The next ones, through Laurence Kay of Airsoft Wholesales, are Amomax of China and SOCOM Tactical that donated a total of surgical 150 masks to the Finchampstead Surgery after an appeal via Eversley Matters on Facebook as their masks will run out in a matter of days. The same surgery is appealing for more PPEs as they do not have these.
Whether big or small amounts, masks, eye protections, face shields, food, and what can be given that you think is needed by the frontliners, please do not hesitate to give them. You do not need to ask us where these should be sent to, just send them to the nearest medical facility that is dealing with Covid-19 patients in your area.
If you have done so, please do drop us a note through our Contact Page or Facebook Page. We want every good deed done recognised, just tell us details of your donation. Whilst we would appreciate photos, it is not necessary as this is not the time for ceremonies, we need to get on with the task at hand immediately.
Our heartfelt thanks to those who have already donated. Your donations have surely helped save lives, those of the patients and those who are taking care of them.
As always, if you are not at the frontlines, #stayathome. Maintain social distancing, protect yourselves and your families by washing your hands frequently and following instructions for authorities tasked to dealing with the pandemic.
