“John Wick: Chapter 4” is all the rage these days (apart from the Super Mario movie) as the reviews are in and it gets the two thumbs up and more. In airsoft, we are seeing loads of reviews of the JAG Precision TTI JW4 Pit Viper Gas Blowback Pistol made by Army Armament, a good indication it’s selling like hotcakes.

Previously, it was announced that a TV series spin-off of the film franchise, called “The Continental, was already in the works. We finally get to see a glimpse of the upcoming series in the first official teaser trailer released by Peacock and it is set to be released in September of this year.

The actual title “The Continental: From the World of John Wick” and this is the synopsis of the series:

The three-part event series will explore the origin behind the iconic hotel-for-assassins centerpiece of the John Wick universe through the eyes and actions of a young Winston Scott, as he’s dragged into the Hell-scape of 1970’s New York City to face a past he thought he’d left behind. Winston charts a deadly course through the hotel’s mysterious underworld in a harrowing attempt to seize the hotel where he will eventually take his future throne.

We all know from early information that it will explore the world of assassins in John Wick’s world with The Continental Hotel being a focal point of the series. Now, it’s clear, it’s the story about Winston Scott the hotel manager who was portrayed by Ian McShane in the John Wick film franchise. In the 3-part prequel mini-series, the character is played by Colin Woodell with Charon, the role played by the late Lance Reddic in the films, taken up by Ayomide Adegun.

The teaser looks to be action packed, as expected of a series worthy of the John Wick brand. But our curiosity is how Winston gets to control The Continental. Will he be as lethal as John Wick, or the more wily Winston as seen in the films?

Joining Woodell and Adegun in the series are Mel Gibson, Peter Greene, Ben Robson, Nhung Kate and Katie McGrath.  It will be streaming on Peacock in September.
