This week, Bungie brings back the Gjallarhorn as part of its 30th Anniversary Pack. This pack contains other weapons that will bring nostalgia to players. The Gjallarhorn, a name derived from Norse mythology is a rocket launcher decked with gold trim and wolf heads. As for its projectiles, these are homing rounds called “Wolfpack rounds” and these will create secondary explosions around the impact area.

It is the most powerful launcher in the game, and it is good for use against the boss as it acts the rounds act like cluster bombs, all woolpack rounds will hit the boss. For Destiny 2, the player will be able to share the rounds to the entire fireteam.

Apart from releasing the Gjallarhorn for the 30th anniversary, Bungie has teamed up with Hasbro to come up with a Gjallarhorn NERF version. Now on pre-order and set to be released in late 2021, it is highly detailed:

• Designed at a 1:1 scale measuring more than 4 feet long, with true-to-game sculpted details  
• Features a first-of-its kind Mega shell by Nerf that blasts 3 darts at once from a shell
• Features a breach loading mechanism inspired by the game
• Illuminated scope and game-accurate reloading feature

• Bungie Rewards edition includes Bungie Rewards certificate of authenticity and Bungie Rewards decal

According to the product page, early access will be granted to players who acquire the Gjallarhorn rocket launcher in the Destiny 2: Bungie 30th Anniversary Pack before August 1, 2022. It is a time limited offer to give an opportunity to eligible players who will be notified by email to get ahead of others in placing their orders before the general public is allowed to order.

The package will include Blaster, 3 Nerf Mega shells, 9 Nerf Mega darts, Instructions. As for power source, it will require 2x AA 1.5v alkaline batteries that will have to be purchased separately. Price is US$171.00.
