The gentlemen in the photo are ready to welcome in you what should be biggest Action Air event in 2021 – the Dutch Open European International Airsoft Practical Shooting Championship 2021. The 2020 edition was cancelled given the Covid-19 pandemic and with the increasing portion of the populations in Europe getting vaccinated; governments are loosening up on restrictions and allowing events to take place as long as precautions are in place to prevent spreader events.

Set on the 6th to the 7th of November at the NAVB National Airsoft Centrum in Geldermalsen, this year’s tournament will be limited to 80 action air shooters for main match and 20 shooters for the pre-match. As of this writing 57 has been approved for the main match and 9 for the pre-match. Around 9 countries are represented so far by the shooters.

Divisions are Open, Standard, Production, Production Optics, and Classic.
For interested shooters, the entry fee is €45 for NABV members and €75 for non-NABV members and the feed already includes the BBQ affair on Saturday evening.  For Juniors, they need to pay a discounted rate of €45.

They can now register at Shootnscoreit.com. Updates on the match are also posted at the IAPS-NABV Facebook page.

However, if interested shooters are unvaccinated against Covid-19 then you will not be allowed to participate. The event will be open for fully vaccinated shooters so they need to get vaccinated as soon as possible. Shooters must show a digital EU-COVID-certificate and other accepted Covid documentation if you’e from a non-EU country before being allowed into the premises. This will be mainly a shooters even with no spectators allowed just like the 2020 Tokyo Olympics.

We highly suggest that shooters travelling to the Netherlands for the match to update themselves on Covid-19 guidelines for visitors as posted by the Dutch government here.
If there will be no further restrictions or the Covid-19 situation further improves, there is a possibility that Popular Airsoft will be covering the event again and be able to livestream the event so you can watch the action from wherever you are.
