With all the bad news we have been hearing from Hong Kong in the past weeks, for airsoft players there is good news. Early this year, one of the most recognised airsoft retailers and wholesalers based in Hong Kong, eHobby Asia, has been experiencing difficulties, with Hong Kong rental rates being too high as one major factor. Initially the company was on the verge of shutting down but then decided to do a pure online business play.

That started with a total revamp of the website. One of the issues that many airsoft players complained about is the broken search function, making it hard to search for products. For an online business with thousands of item for sale, the search form is essential as online customers can use it to find the products they need quickly. Whilst the website is being revamped, eHobby Asia continued to try to engage customers, but traffic has been going down at the website over the months since February 2019.

But it looks like the tide will be turned. Checking the website, it is almost 100% complete with some sections still need to be completed. The most important part of the site, ecommerce component looks to be running smoothly and the search function now much improved with suggested products being shown whilst you type in a product’s name.  Most of the latest releases from major manufacturers are in stock including accessories, upgrade parts, and gear from third party vendors.

If you have forgotten about eHobby Asia, then it might be time for you to renew your familiarity with the company. eHobby Asia is one of the go to companies when you need something not found at other retailers, and seeing it go through an ordeal and make it through shows the tenacity and devotion of its owner to serving airsoft players worldwide.
