Can’t wait for May 17 to arrive which is the arrival of the much anticipated John Wick: Chapter 3 – Parabellum? We are all tense now how John Wick can get through the gauntlet of highly trained assassins after his head for a big bounty and survive. But come next week, we get another massive hit of “Gun Fu.”

In the ever expanding John Wick universe in which there will be a TV spin-off called “The Continental” that will show the world of assassins. But for those fans who think they are John Wick in their dreams may get to be like him in another video game as there is one in the works.

Lionsgate and Good Shepherd Entertainment announced the video game project yesterday. Called “John Wick Hex”, the video game is a fast-paced action strategy game.  It is being developed by Mike Bithell, known for the Volume, Thomas Was Alone, and Subsurface Circular, in cooperation with the creative and stunt teams behind the films.

The player will be able to do some gun fun in the game but will have to plan carefully as each move comes at a cost. Ammo will be finite and thus the player will have to select when to reload and what weapon to scavenge from the unlucky opponents. It is not exactly a pure-turned base game, but before action begins, the player is given the time to strategize on how he/she will react to the situation given the number of foes as well as their position and distance from the John Wick character.

Lance Reddick will reprise his role as the voice actor for Charon, who is the concierge of the Continental Hotel whilst Ian McShane also be the voice of his character in the film, Winston. We don’t know if Keanu Reeves will be the actual voice of John Wick or will there be a dog in the game.

No release date revealed in the announcement, but the John Wick Hex game will be playable in undisclosed consoles as well as on the PC and Mac.
