The Battle Royale Game in first person shooter games just won’t die away and it is here to stay permanently. Activision knows that and has dabbled on Battle Royale Game modes in previous Call of Duty game titles and finally decided to give players who would just prefer to shoot it out in a standalone Battle Royale game. It will release the “Call of Duty: Warzone” a free to play Battle Royal Game today, the 10th of March 2020.
For “Call of Duty: Modern Warfare” players, they get to have a first shot at the “Call of Duty: Warzone” at 1100H ET with the rest being able to play the game by 1500H ET. To play the Battle Royale Game, it does not require “Call of Duty: Modern Warfare.”
Players get to choose two game modes: Battle Royale where you get to play with up to 150 players playing a single map called Verdansk which has over 300 points of interest and Plunder wherein you try to get as much money as you can by searching for loot, fragging other players, and accomplishing contracts. Vehicles will be available in the game such as ATVs, SUVs, cargo trucks, tactical rovers and helicopters.
If you die for the first time in the Battle Royale game mode, you will find yourself in a place called Gulag wherein you fight in a one on one against another player who died as well. If you win, you get back in the game. But if you lose, you need wait for your team mates to respawn by collecting enough points.
150 players in a single map is massive as Fortnite and PUBG max out at 100 players. If you’re ready to play later today, “Call Of Duty: Warzone” will have a crossplay for PS4, Xbox One and PC. But make sure you have enough diskspace as those who do not have “Call of Duty: Modern Warfare” will need to download 80-100GB of assets before they can start playing the game.
