Airsoft players can get pretty busy at home when the cold weather sets in and it becomes unbearable to stay long outside in the field in the cold months. Apart from going to an indoor game site, they get some virtual trigger time by playing with the newest shooter games to stay warm. The timing of the release of video games just weeks before the Holiday shopping rush is always impeccable.
With all the rage about new modes of Multiplayer games and the Battle Royale Juggernaut, the developer and publisher of the video game based on the Terminator Franchise decided to just stick with the single-player mode game. Reef and Teyon, the publisher and developer behind the derided Rambo video game released in 2014, will soon be releasing the “Terminator: Resistance” first person shooter game.
“Terminator: Resistance” is based on the original story of the “The Terminator” released in 1984 and the sequel, "Terminator 2: Judgement Day" that was released inn 1991. Set 30 years after Judgement Day, players will be running the role of Private Jacob Rivers who is a member of the Resistance Pacific Division who has become the latest target of Skynet, the neural network-based conscious group mind and artificial general intelligence system bent on destroying the human race.
Apart from the iconic T-800 and other enemies seen in the first two movies, the game will introduce new enemies. There will be an arsenal of plasma weaponry to use and even players can hack their way through tight situations. The player will need to level-up skills and completing story missions will lead to rise in the ranks. There will be some mission to help friends as well.
There is no specific ending to the story of the game as the players will determine how their game ends which are and there will be consequences for their actions as they protect a crew of survivors who have their own stories and motivations.
“Terminator: Resistance” will be playable on the Xbox One, PS4, and PC. It will be released first in Europe by November 15 then North America follows on December 3.
