If you think there is a product needed by airsoft players, be it an airsoft part or other airsoft-related products and you got a general idea on how it should be, Laylax wants to hear from you. Today is the start of their “Ideas Grand Prix 2019” and anyone with a product idea, crazy or not, can submit to Laylax for consideration.

If your idea gets considered and becomes a winning entry, the product might become a reality with your name as the guy who broached with the idea included in the packaging. You will also get a unit of product once it becomes a commercial product.

This ideas-generating event is for those who dream of ideas of products for airsoft, but would not go the distance to actually producing the product. If your idea is accepted, Laylax will look into the feasibility and commercial viability of the idea. But please take note that even if your entry is a winning one, there is no guarantee that it will become an actual product as there might be insurmountable issues that will be encountered during its development which can lead to the cancellation of its development. Another thing is that if Laylax is already working on a product similar to the idea that you have submitted, your idea will not then be eligible for judging.

This is not only for Japan-based airsoft players as it is open to submissions from around the world. This makes it better for Laylax to have a nice selection of potential products to work on from a wider pool of ideas.

So before you submit that idea that has always been in your grey matter for some time now, have a read at the Terms and Conditions of the Ideas Grand Prix 2019:

• In submitting your idea via this entry page, you consent to LayLax filing for various patents (including utility models and design rights) at some point in the future.
• LayLax conducts various kinds of product planning and development aside from this competition. Ideas not adopted have no bearing on any such initiatives that LayLax conducts in the future. As such, LayLax is not obligated to carry out any investigations on (or comparisons between) submissions that were unsuccessful in the past, or to contact or compensate any parties with respect to said submissions (even if potential similarities exist).
• LayLax may alter or supplement the winning ideas during actual product development.
• If a winning idea ends up being suggested by multiple entrants, all their names will appear on the finished product's package.
