This month, the whole of the airsoft world is supposed to look again to Japan for something new as it is the month that Tokyo Marui hold their Tokyo Marui Festival. It is a major event for the most admired airsoft company in the world as they announce new products. However, with the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic, they have cancelled the event which is usually held at Bellesalle Akihabara and do everything online.

But before we get to see that, the company always starts with their teaser showing their upcoming products. For Maru-Fes Online Part 3, they tease us with three products:

With only small portions of the upcoming products revealed in the teaser, we do our own sleuthing to find out what these are. So here we go:

TEASER 1

This is easy since the trigger is a dead giveaway, but there is still a possibility that we could be wrong. It is a black version of the Vorpal Bunny AM.45 Version Llen GBB Pistol that is a limited edition run. The pink version is for Llen’s use so for those who like the pistol but do not like the pink colour, they can go for the black version.

As for the character who shoots black-colour firearms in Sword Art Online Alternative "Gun Gale Online" is Kanzaki Elsa, known as Pitohui and is the first friend of Llen in the game.

TEASER 2

For the first time, this has baffled us and we’ve been looking at potential weapons that carry this flash hider and there is a strong indication it can be an AR or an SMG. We do not know if this will be an AEG or a gas blowback.

We throw the puzzle at our readers to give their educated guesses on what weapon this is.

TEASER 3

This is definitely an AR and the guess is that this is an URGI as the handguard indictates a Geissele URGI. Given the Tokyo Marui already released a MK18 in NGRS and Gas Blowback versions, this can be a URGI MK18 SOPMOD Block 3. But it can be another AR that uses a Geiselle Modular Rail M-Lok System.

Part 3 of the Maru-Fes Online will be on the 7th of November 2020 at 2000H GMT+9 and it will be hosted again by Deca and assisted by virtual YouTuber Irodori Mayoi as they reveal the new products. There will be three parts on this day: Marudeca Advertising Headquarters Business trip version (Product Reveal); New Product Corner in which more details of the new products will be explained; and Shooting Corner where the models, if not all, will be tested. Part 4 remains to be announced.
