On 28 November 2021,  a group of Tokyo Marui airsoft gun owners banded together in an low-key trial event organised by ACE Brigade and CAMO in cooperation with Popular Airsoft,  for an “Only Marui Fans” event at the Airsoft Plantation in Essex and to discuss how the Tokyo Marui owners in the UK can invite more to the game of airsoft. This event also helped them plan on how to gather more Tokyo Marui owners as well as other airsoft players interested in the Japanese airsoft company’s products which are some of the most sought airsoft guns in the world.

They were able to get the endorsement of Tokyo Marui to organise an official Tokyo Marui event in the United Kingdom which probably makes it the first official Tokyo Marui event to be held outside Japan. After a meeting of the involved groups last Saturday, the Tokyo Marui Airsoft Festival United Kingdom has been agreed upon and that it will take place at the Airsoft Plantation on the 25th to the 26th of June 2022.

The event is open to all and not exclusive Tokyo Marui airsoft gun owners. There will be a weekender of allowing airsoft players to set-up camp, talk to Tokyo Marui owners on the various airsoft guns the company makes, have a custom Tokyo Marui airsoft gun, a raffle draw giving away Tokyo Marui airsoft guns and merchandise and more.

There will be a shooting range where they can try out the Tokyo Marui airsoft guns, especially the latest NGRS and Gas Blowbacks. There will be some small games on the first day and there a bigger airsoft game on the second day. Airsoft players can bring their own airsoft guns, whether these are Tokyo Marui or other brands.

Airsoft retailers selling Tokyo Marui products as well as upgrades and custom services for the event are invited to setup shop.

These are just some of the activities being planned for the event as the further details are being treshed out and will be announced in the following weeks. Ticket sales will be opened as soon as the booking system is opened.
