The big airsoft event of the year (so far), is taking place this weekend. QRF Magazine’s MOA Camping Fest 2022 started yesterday with the airsoft community and industry of Taiwan converging at the Shulin Camping Park that is located southwest edge of New Taipei City.

It’s a significant event given that the MOA which usually takes place indoors in Taipei got cancelled last year and taking its place in consideration of the Covid-19 restrictions is the MOA Camping Fest which makes it safer to hold a large event as it’s mainly in the outdoors. Also, Eric Chu of QRF Magazine also explained:

MOA Camping fest is a part of MOA exhibition, we moved to the outdoors to combine the camping, military market, shooting range and of course airsoft exhibition. It is different from MOA exbition indoor,there are more activity program here for military/outdoor/airsoft fans.

A number of airsoft exhibitors have setup shop notably Modify-Tech, PAF Airsoft, CL Project Design, Vega Force Company (VFC), LCT Airsoft, Archwick, Poseidon, Acetech, IDCF Airsoft, AW Custom, Northeast Airsoft, Slong Airsoft, Unicorn Airsoft, PTS Syndicate, Tai-Heng Toy, and Trident Inc.

Since most of us outside of Taiwan won’t be able to join in the fun given the travel restrictions, we can still follow by watching the product launch sessions that are taking place today and tomorrow. You can see the schedule below to find out the product reveals and announcements by the companies. All of the sessions will be streamed live via QRF Magazine’s Twitch channel and we will be in the sessions which will start at 0700H BST (and hopefully we can drag ourselves early out of bed this weekend).
