Finally released is the Maztech Industries X4 System, a fire control solution developed through a partnership between Magpul and Maztech Industries, which aims to refine accuracy and efficiency for shooters. The X4 System integrates multiple components to provide users with real-time ballistic data, environmental information, and improved targeting precision.

At the core of this system is the X4 Fire Control System (X4-FCS). This unit works with a low-power variable optic (LPVO) to create an augmented-reality display. This system generates a ballistic-compensated offset aiming point, designed to assist with hits on targets at various ranges. The X4-FCS uses onboard sensors and an Applied Ballistics solver to calculate aiming solutions.

Supporting the X4 FCS is the X4-Laser Rangefinder (X4-LRF). This unit provides accurate range measurements and integrates its own Applied Ballistics solver. The X4-LRF communicates directly with the X4-FCS, transmitting range data to refine aiming calculations. This integration helps shooters make informed decisions without manual adjustments.

The X4 System's low-profile design contributes to its compatibility with various firearm configurations. The X4-FCS sits at 1.93 inches (49 mm) Height Above Rail (HAR), allowing for integration with existing weapon platforms. The X4-LRF can be mounted on the front rail or above the X4-FCS using the Diving Board Mount. To accommodate various user setups, the system includes cables in different lengths.

Looking ahead, Maztech Industries has incorporated wireless linking capabilities into the X4 System. This design allows for future integration with Magpul’s "Rounds Remaining" technology, expected to launch in soon. This feature aims to enhance situational awareness by enabling shooters to monitor their ammunition count directly through the X4-FCS display.
