MOA Expo 2025 Day 2

Our coverage of the MOA Expo 2025—the world's premier airsoft trade event—continues today, focusing on the highly anticipated new releases and upcoming products. This Saturday, Day 2, has drawn an overwhelming response from the public: attendees are currently forming long queues outside the Taipei World Trade Center, taking advantage of their day off from work and school. We will update our report throughout the day as this very crowded event unfolds.

As for our initial report at 1215H Taiwan Time, here is the first batch of videos:

T-N.T. Studio New Hop-Up Release

This video from the MOA Expo 2025 showcases the new Omnic hop-up system by T-N.T. Studio, designed for the Hi-Capa series. The set includes a chamber body, a rubber, two spacers, one T-lock, and one tool. A key feature is the ability to adjust the hop-up from the bottom of the chamber, which simplifies the process as it eliminates the need to remove the sleeve. The system also comes with two different spacers: a red one for ori over to accommodate the specific barrel they are using. This design, along with the chamber set, is a patented feature of T-N.T. Studio. The representative confirms that the product, including a barrel, is already available for purchase through their Facebook page, YMS, or overseas dealers.ginal frames and a black one for other brands, to ensure compatibility with different sizes.

Furthermore, the dual-side T-lock design is highlighted for its versatility, as it fits both narrow and wide slot barrels. Users can simply turn the T-lock over to accommodate the specific barrel they are using. This design, along with the chamber set, is a patented feature of T-N.T. Studio. The representative confirms that the product, including a barrel, is already available for purchase through their Facebook page, YMS, or overseas dealers.

Mechlabs XX-MOD HPA Engine, Flat Triggers, & Hop-Up Unit

John from Mech Labs, an HPA (High-Pressure Air) company, presenting their products at the MOA Expo 2025. He introduces their signature product, the XX-MOD engine, which is the second generation of their mechanical HPA engine. A key feature of this engine is its ability to perform both full auto and semi-automatic firing using only HPA air, with no reliance on batteries or electronics. The engine's simplicity is highlighted, noting that if an issue arises, it is typically just an O-ring replacement, as there are no solenoids or complex electronics to break. The system is also shown to be compatible with various upgrades, including different flat triggers, and features a specialized HPA regulator that includes a degassing system for safe and easy tank removal.

Mech Labs also showcased their new Roto TDP Hop-Up unit, which is described as a unique design that eliminates the need for a traditional bucking. The unit utilizes a "Top Dead Piston" (TDP) that has a piece of rubber molded directly onto it, simplifying the airsoft gun's assembly and operation. The product is designed to be easy for any player to install; all that is required is to insert a barrel, lock it in with the included clip, and place it into the gun. Additionally, the XX-MOD engine includes a ProBolt system with an adjustable nozzle, allowing it to be finely tuned to fit with almost every hop-up unit available on the market, addressing a frequent request from their customer base.

BOLT Airsoft Gas Blowback Rifle Series

Wilson from BOLT Airsoft presenting their new Gas Blowback (GBB) Rifle Series at the 2025 MOA Expo. The first product shown is a new DDM4 PDW, which is licensed by Daniel Defense. Wilson demonstrates the performance of this new GBB rifle with both single and full auto test firing. He explains that their GBB system is an MS system with a patented design that includes two holes on the magazine and the bolt. This design is intended to make the airflow more stable, resulting in consistent shooting, better performance in colder weather, and reduced gas leaking. The new Daniel Defense line offers different sizes of rail systems, including the new MFR XL series with lengths of 6, 7, 9, 10, and 13.5 inches.

Wilson then introduces another new GBB rifle model, the M16 A4, which features a longer outer barrel. He attempts to demonstrate its GBB performance, but encounters a temporary issue with the gas in the magazine. He eventually manages to get a successful test fire. Wilson confirms that the DDM4 PDW is already released, but they are waiting on the outer barrel to be fully done. He encourages viewers to visit the BOLT Airsoft website for updates and more information.

4UAD Smart Airsoft New Hop-Up Design for 2011s, 1911s and APFG Blowbacks

Andrew new hop-up chamber designs from 4UAD Smart Airsoft, beginning with a model compatible with 2011 and 1911 airsoft pistols. A key feature is the "takeup screw" system, which addresses the issue of wobble caused by varied mid-frame sizes in the market, particularly with Hi-Capa pistols. The system allows users to make fine adjustments to eliminate movement in the unit by filling the gaps, rather than rigidly locking the chamber in place and risking damage to the mid-frame. This design ensures the hop-up unit can still be manually removed after the screws have been tightened. For setting the hop-up, a 2mm Allen key is inserted through the slide to adjust the pressure, providing a clear visual reference for the level of adjustment, and a separate screw can be used to lock the final setting.

The second design covered is a replacement hop-up chamber for APFG blowback rifles. This model features a redesigned internal geometry, a Tri-Lock system on the adjustment ring, and a 2011 barrel block designed to securely hold the inner barrel in place. The new assembly is shown to provide a consistent air seal. Functionally, the hop-up is adjusted using a flathead screwdriver through an M-LOK slot on the rifle's handguard, which replaces the rifle's original adjustment mechanism that was noted to be susceptible to deformation. Andrew states the company is finalizing the details and expects the chamber to be available around the first quarter.

ICS Airsoft TTI TR-9 PCC GBB & AEG Coming Soon

The upcoming ICS Airsoft TR-9 PCCs were on display at the 2025 MOA Show. The product is a collaboration with Taran Tactical Innovations (TTI) and is being released in partnership with Evike and EMG. ICS is introducing two versions of the TR-9: a Gas Blowback (GBB) rifle and an Automatic Electric Gun (AEG) rifle.

The GBB model utilizes a CO2 magazine and incorporates Max Airsoft's self-regulator system, which reduces the CO2 pressure to 12 kilograms to protect the product and maintain a stable FPS. Notably, both the GBB and AEG models share the same body receiver, allowing users to swap internal GBB accessories into the AEG model with minor modifications. The internal parts are also compatible with Tokyo Marui's fire control unit components for aftermarket upgrades, a feature ICS refers to as the Modular Fusion System (MFS). The AEG version is equipped with the ICS Triple S ETU system and also includes Mastermod upgrade parts. The AEG model is scheduled for release on March 26th, while the GBB version is expected later in the year, around Q3 or Q4 of 2026.

King Arms Color P90s and Re-released VSS Vintorez

King Arms presented wo airsoft products at the MOA Expo 2025. The first product is the FN P90 series, which is shown in pink and blue, with a black version also available. The representative notes the realistic detailings, including the screw placement. The FN P90 comes with a textile chip triple rail system and a 100-round silent magazine, which is preferred by players for stealth operation over high-cap magazines that can wobble and make noise. To access the battery compartment and the quick spring transistor, a button on the baseplate is pressed. The suggested battery is a 9.6V.

The second product introduced is the re-released VSS Vintorez. The outer barrel can be removed quickly by clicking a button. The airsoft gun is primarily constructed from CNC 6061 aluminum, whilst the dust cover and bolt plate are made of steel. It is equipped with a real wooden stock. This model includes a high-cap magazine that holds around 380 rounds, with additional short-type and silent magazines available separately. Inside, the VSS Vintorez features a drop-in MOSFET.

 S&T New & Upcoming Products (MG42 & FG42 AEGs, Gas Blowback Rifles)

S&T provide an overview of new and upcoming airsoft products at the MOA Expo 2025. The presentation begins with the MP44, showcasing a dummy night vision for exhibition purposes and discussing an upgrade to the finishing of their MP44, MP40, and MP41 models. The new finishing features a more metallic, "blackening" color compared to the previous normal black spray paint. The MP40 is highlighted with its gunmetal color and upgraded plastic parts, aiming for a look closer to a real steel firearm. The presentation then shifts to the S&T STG44 with two suppressor versions—a special operation and a standard M2S—which now include a built-in light tracer unit and have a metallic gray color.

From there, they introduce the SVT, confirming that mass production is complete and that the rifle is available in Taiwan and Europe. This model features real wood construction and an M4 power-up chamber. The gearbox uses M4 Version 2 gears and piston, but uniquely incorporates an electronic control unit (ECU) to manage the gears for correct positioning in single-action firing. Following this, the SKS is discussed as a manufacturer prototype, with an expected mass production date around March 2026. Improvements to the finishing are planned, and the rifle is designed with a safe plastic bayonet and a magazine that will hold 22 rounds. A future AK magazine converter is also mentioned, along with a tool-less battery compartment in the stock.

The video also announces the re-launch of the M4 Gas Blowback using the Western Arms (WA) system, favoured for its realistic hammer, sear, and selector mechanisms. The new version will feature a changed magazine design that remains compatible with older WA magazines. Additionally, an upgraded G36 GBP with an MLOK handguard is shown.

Finally, S&T's new MG42 is displayed, which features a removable, in-house light tracer unit. The highly anticipated FG42 is mentioned as the next project after the SKS enters mass production, with an estimated release in late 2026 or early 2027 after extensive testing and mold finalization. The FG42 prototype features a built-in light tracer in the flash hider, a plastic bayonet for safety, and an adjustable hop-up. The presentation concludes by inviting viewers to visit the company's website and social media for updates, also briefly mentioning their work on an AR57.
