Milduk AGX Winchester M1894 Review

Milduk features an Academy made shell-ejecting Winchester M1894 airsoft gun under its AGX sub-brand. This model is based on the lever-action rifle designed by John Browning, which was the first civilian rifle to use smokeless powder. The version reviewed is a limited edition featuring a realistic wood-pattern water transfer print on the stock and handguard. It comes with eight shells, a manual, and a small quantity of BBs.

The rifle incorporates several metal components, including the receiver, hammer, lever, and trigger, while the sights and barrel rings are made of steel or nylon. It features a functioning hammer-cocking mechanism that allows for both manual cocking and cocking via the lever action. The design includes an adjustable rear sight, a grip safety that requires the lever to be fully closed to fire, and an additional manual safety lever not found on the original firearm.

The tubular magazine holds seven shells with one in the chamber, and the loading process mimics the real firearm through a side loading gate. During operation, the shells are ejected from the top of the receiver when the lever is cycled. Although positioned at a higher price point than standard models, the product is noted for its build quality and the authentic appearance of its wood-finish components.
