These should alarm airsoft players who own the programmable Baofeng handheld radios to use for communications in airsoft and milsim events. But did the FCC really ban Baofeng radios in the U.S.? It looks like its all about the FCCC part 90 certification for Private Land Mobile Radio Service and that Baofeng needs to its have its radios comply and operate in 145-155 MHz and 400-520 Mhz bands to avoid being in violation.
