The Gear Locker creates a replica of the M116A1 flash crash training grenade, a piece of gear used by Delta Force, as the original simulators are nearly impossible to find. Working with Stripes Airsoft, the host used a cardboard outer shell that matches the dimensions of the real grenade, combined with a 3D-printed inner core to give the reproduction a realistic heft.

The replica is assembled with a real pin, a replica fuse, and a spoon, which are all epoxied to the core. It is finished with a 1:1 scale label designed by the host, and some versions are spray-painted charcoal black.
